An appropriate sailor's girl shirt

I decided a long time ago that I don't look even remotely presentable in a t-shirt. Something about the shapeless, rectangular appearance of most shirts just makes me feel frumpy and dreary-looking. However, I had to make an exception for the shirt above from Anchor Apparel because it looks amazing and has the old vintage military Operational Security adage on it: Loose Lips Sink Ships. You can see it in the bottom of the ship, written in cursive.

I created the graphic above over two years ago during my boyfriend's Asia patrol. It's surprising how the font almost perfectly matches the text on the shirt graphic. I can't wait to receive it! To see some truly fascinating OPSEC posters from WWII, check out this collection hosted by the New Hampshire State Library.

Love it! I.Must.Get.One. Ok, so maybe I'll look like I'm 12, but it's very cute.

Ok, just noticed it's sold out. Did you buy them all?

Thanks for sharing.

lol They had one small size left and I'm not not even entirely sure I can fit into it, but I was like "I HAVE to have it!!" haha I hope that the crazy popularity of that design will encourage the designer to print more. They do still have the navy blue boy's version available, if you want to get it in a size small so it'll look fitted. :) Oh and they have bags with the design as well.

...and these are my deep thoughts of the day :)

Well, I'm tickled "pink" that you decided to share. I will be "sporting" this shirt everywhere I can if I can get my hands on it. And, I don't care what anyone says about it. LOL

Those are my deep thoughts for the evening. ;)

I will proudly wear this shirt in the newsroom while I cover SPORTS content at my computer with a PINK background, as well. But don't take me too seriously, since I'm apparently very frustrated. ;)

Glad that's out of my system!
